In short
- Kepuli-TV is only a player. It contains, distributes, hosts and indexes no content, channels, playlists or providers.
- It does nothing without credentials you bring yourself. No address to any service ships with the software.
- Use it only for content you have the right to watch. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the service you use in your own country.
- Record only what you may keep, for your own use, and do not share recordings. Recording is off until you turn it on.
- Use only your own account. A Stalker portal is used with the MAC address registered to your own subscription.
1.What Kepuli-TV is
Kepuli-TV is a browser extension that plays back the content of the user's own IPTV account (Xtream Codes, an M3U playlist or a Stalker portal) in a browser tab. It is a player in the same sense as any desktop media player: it takes an address and credentials the user supplies and shows what comes back.
The software contains, distributes, hosts and indexes no media, channel listings, playlists or providers. No server address, account or link to any service ships with it. Without credentials the user obtains and enters themselves, it does nothing.
2.Permitted use
The software is intended solely for viewing content the user has the right to view: their own paid subscription, their own media, or other material they are permitted to watch.
The software must not be used to view content the user has no right to access, or to infringe copyright or any other right. Users are responsible for ensuring that the service they use, its content, and their own use are lawful in the country where they are.
3.Recording
Recording is off by default. Turning it on in Settings first shows a reminder of what may be recorded, and it stays on only once the user has acknowledged it. Recordings are made and kept in the user's own browser; nothing is sent to the author or to anyone else.
A recording is a permanent copy. The user may record only programmes they have the right to watch and to copy, such as those of their own subscription, and only for their own private use, as far as the law of their country allows. Copying from a source that is not lawful is not permitted even for private use, and recordings must not be shared, published or passed on. The software does not remove or circumvent copy protection (DRM).
4.Your own account only
Credentials, playlist addresses and MAC addresses must be the user's own, issued to them by their provider. A Stalker portal is used only with the MAC address registered to the user's own subscription. Using another person's account or MAC address, or one obtained from a shared or published list, is not permitted.
5.What the author does not do
The author does not provide, sell, broker, recommend or advise on obtaining IPTV subscriptions or other content services, and does not answer questions about them in any channel. The author has no connection to any provider and no influence over what a user's own server offers, or under what rights.
6.No warranty
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The author is not liable for damages arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law. The exact terms are in the licence shipped with the source code.
7.Changes
A changed version is published at this address and the date at the top of the page changes.
